Dollar Tree Fall Wreath Tutorial - How to Make a Fall Wreath from Dollar Tree Supplies

Sharing is caring!

A Dollar Tree Fall Wreath that takes only 5 minutes and it only cost me around $6! It's an easy DIY fall project that will show you how to make a fall wreath from Dollar Tree supplies.

We shop at the dollar stores quite often, especially when it comes to decorating, parties, or school activities and crafts. It's just so much cheaper and they really do have a lot of fun crafty items you can work with.

This year, we decided we would make a fall wreath with our Dollar Tree finds. Our decision came after we went through some of our fall writing prompts, so it was kind of a spur of the moment craft.

This Dollar Tree fall wreath tutorial will show you how to make your own affordable wreath with just a few supplies.

Dollar Tree Fall Wreath Tutorial

What is great about this wreath is that you can position and maneuver it however you would like. You can also customize the colors to fit your fall decor or style.

You can rotate the wreath to where the flowers are to the side, on the top, or on the bottom. Any way will work, it just depends on how you like it best.

I personally like it with the flowers on the side. But either way, it is a fun way to make your home cozy for fall.

If you don't like having the flowers on the side, you can turn it a bit and position the wreath to where the flowers are on the bottom. Here is an example of what the wreath would look like with the flowers on the bottom of the wreath.

How to Make a Fall Wreath from Dollar Tree Supplies

DIY Fall Wreath Supplies

  • Wreath (you can choose any wreath style)
  • 3 different types of Fall colored flowers
  • Burlap ribbon (1 package will work, but I recommend 2)
  • Orange ribbon (we chose the glitter kind but any color will work)

How to make a fall wreath:

Start off by taking the burlap and wrapping it around as far as it will go around the wreath. We wrapped it tight and got just a little over halfway around the wreath.

It doesn't have to go all the way around, if you have extra space like below, just use that area to put the flowers on.

I recommend taping the burlap onto the wreath. We tried glue, but it did not seem to want to hold it that well and after a bit, it just kept falling.

Do the same with the ribbon. As you can see, we had quite a bit more ribbon than burlap. You can either wrap the rest of the ribbon around the wreath or simply cut it off, then tape or glue it to the burlap.

If you tape the ribbon, roll a small piece of tape and place it on the bottom side. Then, it will stick to the burlap without showing.

Once you get the ribbon and burlap on, it should look similar to the image below. The the part of the wreath we didn't put the burlap around and use it for the flowers.

Placing the flowers is as simple as threading the stems through the wreath and bending to fit how you like it. Once those are in place you can play around with the flowers, spreading them out or moving them until they look nice.

This DIY fall wreath is super simple to make and you can customize it and add more fall accents and fall colors to it if you wish.

That's it! That is how you make a Fall Wreath from Dollar Tree supplies
