Mod Podge Tissue Paper Vases Coastal Home Table Decor
I’m loving these mod podge tissue paper vases! They are super easy to put together and all supplies came from Dollar Tree. It’s an inexpensive way to give your home a little coastal feel.
As we put away our winter decor and store the heavy blankets away, it is time to bring out the spring decor.
Some previous Dollar Tree spring decor projects we have done:
- DIY Faux Birch Vases
- DIY Farmhouse Stand
- This fall wreath also works well for spring.
Mod Podge Tissue Paper Vases
- Scissors
- Paint Brush
- Mod Podge (this one I had gotten from the dollar tree)
- 2 10 inch cylinder vases from Dollar Tree
- Tissue paper (this uses silver, but you can use any color you would like)
How to Make the Vase:
Take 1 piece of silver (or whatever color you choose) tissue paper and fold in half lengthwise, this one-piece will cover both vases! After folded, cut it down the middle.
Next completely cover the vase in mod podge
Crumble the tissue paper in your hand to give it that crinkle look.
Next wrap it around the vase adding mod podge to it so that it stays down. As you wrap it, the extra you have just fold it and use mod podge to secure.
If you have extra on the top, you can trim the top piece or just fold it into the vase.
Once the tissue paper has dried, you can add some flowers into the vase and you are good to go.
This is an easy home decor project that you can do and use it all year. You can easily change the kind of flowers that you use to any theme or holiday you’d like.
