DIY Triangle Wooden Shelf
This DIY triangle wooden shelf is an easy do-it-yourself farmhouse-style project that you can do at home.
It is no secret that I love farmhouse-style decorations. If I had the opportunity, my home would be nothing but farmhouse style.
Unfortunately, I compromise because not everyone in my family likes the style. So, I have my little corner of the house that I like to call my dream corner. It is actually an extra room in the house but it’s nothing but the farmhouse-style decor and things I’ve made.
Decor To Add To The Shelves
Decorating the shelves can be extremely fun. You can also decorate them for different seasons or themes.
For this tutorial, we went with a farmhouse style but you can use any theme you’d like. Get creative and make it your own!
How to Make the DIY Triangle Wooden Shelf
These are the supplies you will need. I found most of this at the Dollar Tree, but you can get them at any craft store:
- 4 Dollar Tree Triangles
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Paintbrush
- Waverly chalk paint
- E6000 glue
- 1 12 x 12 sheet of faux wood cardstock (can also find at Michaels)
How To Put It Together
Start by painting each triangle using the Waverly chalk paint (I didn’t paint the bottom inside of the triangle but you could if you wanted).
Next, trace each triangle on the cardstock and then cut it out (I had to cut some off the bottom to make it fit inside of the triangle).
I just stuck the cardstock inside of the triangle as it fit perfectly and didn’t need to be glued.
Using the E6000 glue, glue the triangles together. I used binder clips to keep it tightly together and let it sit overnight.
