DIY Homemade Cleaners That Will Save You Money
DIY Homemade Cleaners can save you so much money. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t make homemade cleaners before.
I don’t know about you, but I hate going to the story and spending bookoo bucks on name brand cleaning products. I try to save as much money as I can, especially with back to school season coming up. We all know how expensive that can get!
Now, there are a few products I will buy store bought and not make myself, but that’s because I feel like some get things cleaner than the homemade stuff.
So let’s just get in to it, shall we?
DIY Homemade Glass Cleaner
A Sparkle of Genius shared her recipe for glass cleaner with just a few ingredients (that you probably already have in your pantry). She adds essential oils for the boost of smell, but those are optional.
Lemon Toilet Fizzies
You can pop these lemony bad boys in the toilet to give it a good clean. Plus the lemon scent will bring a nice fresh aroma! Crafty Morning has the recipe!
Reusable Clorox Wipes
I love Clorox wipes, but with the cats and kids running around, I don’t like the fact that it can be so toxic. Jillee, over at One Good Thing, has shared her recipe for DIY Reusable Clorox Wipes.
Homemade Toilet Cleaner (Liquid)
Here’s another toilet cleaner, this one is liquid though instead of the toilet bombs shared above. Mom 4 Real shared this liquid toilet cleaner recipe.
DIY Homemade Dusting Spray and Furniture Polish
Sustainable Cooks shared their recipe for Homemade Dusting Spray.
Now, I’ve heard good and bad things about using vinegar on wood. This is something I would do more research on, depending on the type of wood your are dusting.
DIY Grout Cleaner
I hate cleaning grout. I found this DIY Grout Cleaner from The Creek Line House that I’m going to be trying.
Do you have your own favorite recipe for DIY Homemade Cleaners? I’d love to hear them. I’m always looking for different cleaning recipes to add to our collection.
