Best Math YouTube Channels and Math Videos for Homeschooling
Homeschooling with math YouTube channels has been a great resource for us and many of these have become part of our list of educational homeschool channels.
If you haven’t checked out this mega list of homeschool channels, you definitely need to. In the post, I’ve gathered some of the best YouTube channels to help you homeschool and I sort them by subject for easy reading.
Math YouTube Channels for Young Learners
Preschool Prep Company – I love this channel because it has a variety of different subjects. Their math subjects include subtraction, addition, and multiplication.
Jack Hartmann Kids Music Channel – Songs for kids and educational videos will help your children learn counting, numbers, reading, and language skills. The channel also goes over fun nursery rhymes, science, physical fitness, dance, and movement.
Math and Learning Video for Kids – These math videos are for each grade level. The math channel offers everything from preschool to 4th grade.
Khan Academy Math – Khan Academy offers a variety of different subjects. Their math sections includes math videos for both younger and older students.
Math Mammoth – The popular Mammoth Math program also has a YouTube math channel!
MashUp Math – Mashup Math is an online guide for teaching and learning mathematics in elementary, middle, and high school.
Best Channels for Older Students & College Students
Mathmantics – Great for middle school and high school, Mathmantics goes over Algebra basics, geometry, statistics, fractions, percentages, and many more math related topics.
Michael Penn – Math videos covering calculus, differential equations, number theory and more.
The Organic Chemistry Tutor – This channel focuses on providing tutorial videos on organic chemistry, general chemistry, physics, algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus.
patrickJMT – All about limits. The basic idea, finding limits from graphs, different ways to calculate limits, limit laws, one-sided limits. It also goes over the squeeze theorem, limits at infinity, L’Hospital’s rule, and more.
NancyPi – Algebra and calculus math help from an MIT graduate.
Math The Beautiful – Mathematics ranging from High School Algebra to advanced subjects such as Linear Algebra, Calculus and beyond.
Stand-Up Mathematics – Mathematics and stand-up. Sometimes simultaneously.
Eddie Woo – A math teacher from Australia, Mr. Woo goes over a variety of different math subjects for older students.
Tecmath – This channel obsesses over methods to make math easier.
3blue1brown – 3Blue1Brown, by Grant Sanderson, is some combination of math and entertainment, depending on your disposition.
NumberPhile – Videos about numbers – it’s that simple. These videos are made by Brady Haran and will help teach match concepts to high school and college students.

Math TV – Full of educational math videos for older students and high school math.
ProfRobBob – A collection of mathematics education videos related to Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, and AP Statistics.
