Easy pantry meals, or meals with pantry staples, are a great way to save money and feed a crowd.
Basic pantry staples include food items we can use for everyday meals or meals that don't take a lot of work. These are items you can always stock up on and have them on hand when you need them.
Basic pantry staples you should always have on hand:

- Cans of Vegetables (corn, green beans, potatoes, etc)
- Canned Fruit
- Canned Meats and Sauces
- Baking Staples (baking soda, powder, sugar, shortening, etc)

Frozen vegetables and other versatile frozen goods are always a great idea to have on hand. You can easily pull these out when needed and you can store them for months at a time if not longer.
To help us save money throughout the year, we also like to regrow herbs and vegetables. We can then use them when needed or freeze them to use later.
