The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies That Are Soft and Chewy
Soft, chewy, and oh so delicious! These chocolate chip cookies are easy to make. You won't be able to eat just one!
- 1 c margarine (½ c melted and ½ c softened)
- ¾ c sugar
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 3 c flour
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butters and the sugars together.
Add in the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Add the vanilla and eggs.
Beat, with a mixer, until everything is combined and dough is light and fluffy. Do not chill.
Fold in chocolate chips.
On a baking sheet, place about 1 and a ½ to 2 tablespoons of cookie dough for each cookie. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until they are golden brown.
Once they are finished, take them off of the baking sheet immediately to let cook. Once cooled, store them in an airtight container so that they stay nice and soft.
