How To Make the Love Bug Toilet Paper Roll Craft
Size and cut yellow construction paper to the size of the toilet paper roll.
Wrap the construction paper around the roll and glue it to the roll.
Cut the black construction paper into thin strips for the stripes of the bee. We used 4 thin strips.
Glue them around the roll from the bottom of the tube up to the top.
Use the desired color of construction paper to cut out a large heart shape for the wings. As you can see, we used the color red, but you can use any color.
for extra fun..
Let the kids decorate the wings with glue and glitter if you want. They can even draw on the wings or add extra shapes cut out from construction paper.
To make the antennae - cut a pipe cleaner in half and curl the top a little. Glue the pom pom onto the top (the curled end). Once attached, glue the pipe cleaner to the inside of the tube.
Glue the heart onto the back of the bee.
Glue on the eyes near the top of the tube and use markers to draw on the bee's nose and mouth.
